Inspired County Report

Editorial policy

Inspired County Report aims to make county civic information easier to read without overstating what a document, description or example can establish. We write for clarity, check wording and context, and correct material errors openly.

Accuracy and context

We check names of document types, roles and processes against the material available for the topic. We separate fact, interpretation and suggestion, and avoid presenting one county's arrangements as universal. When a subject depends on current local procedures, our wording should make that limitation clear rather than invite readers to rely on a general explanation as a definitive answer.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not buy favourable coverage, a particular conclusion or control over editorial judgement. We do not present a partner's claims as independently established facts.

Corrections

If you spot an error, use the Contact page and identify the page, the wording at issue and any useful supporting detail. We review correction requests, update material errors where warranted and make the correction clear when the change affects a reader's understanding.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner-supported material is clearly labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; they are illustrative, not documentary evidence, and are identified where relevant.

Our point of view

Clear words make shared choices easier to see

We look at the documents, roles and places behind county life, separating what is stated from what still needs to be decided.
